Role Purpose Statement

We're looking for a bilingual HR professional who is passionate about people, organization, and creating a positive employee experience. In this role, you'll be a key partner in supporting recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, payroll administration, and HR compliance. Location: near San Diego International Airport

Main Accountabilities

  • Review applications, phone screen qualified applicants and set up interviews with managers of the departments
  • Initiate background checks and drug screens
  • Assist with new hire onboarding processes
  • Prepare weekly open positions report
  • Assist with payroll support, timekeeping
  • Track and administer leave of absences
  • Maintain accurate HR records and confidential personnel records
  • Respond to employee inquiries
  • Assist with handling employees Workers Compensation and Liability Reports
  • Administrative duties and recordkeeping.
  • Other duties and projects as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2-4 years of experience as HR clerk required
  • General Knowledge with Federal, State and County Labor Laws
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision, interact with all levels of management and maintain strict confidentiality
  • Strong analytical, verbal, written, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment with large groups – must be flexible
  • Bi-lingual English/Spanish required
