Role Purpose Statement
The Human Resources Administrator (HRA) provides day-to-day administrative and operational support to the Human Resources department within a fast-paced airline catering environment. This role serves as the first point of contact for employees regarding HR-related questions while ensuring compliance with company policies, maintaining accurate employee records, and supporting employee engagement initiatives. The HRA also partners closely with the Employee Experience Department to help create a positive workplace culture by assisting with employee engagement programs, recognition initiatives, onboarding activities, and events that enhance the overall employee experience. The HRA works closely with operations leadership, the Employee Experience team, and the HR Manager to deliver exceptional customer service to a diverse workforce.

Shifts:
- Tuesday – Friday: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Saturday: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
- Sunday & Monday: Off
Main Accountabilities
- Welcome employees and visitors to the HR office while providing outstanding customer service.
- Maintain employee personnel files and ensure HR records are accurate, complete, and confidential.
- Assist with onboarding, orientation, and new hire documentation.
- Coordinate pre-employment processes, including background checks and employment verification.
- Process employee status changes, promotions, transfers, and terminations.
- Assist with benefits enrollment and answer basic employee benefits questions.
- Maintain attendance, leave, and timekeeping documentation.
- Support employee relations by responding to routine inquiries and escalating concerns to the HR Manager when appropriate.
- Support the Employee Experience Department with employee engagement initiatives, celebrations, and culture-building events.
- Assist in coordinating employee communications and activities that promote a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Assist with recruiting activities, interview scheduling, and hiring events.
- Prepare HR reports and maintain employment metrics.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, labor laws, and employment regulations.
- Assist with audits and document retention requirements.
- Support training initiatives and maintain training records.
- Perform other administrative and HR-related duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2-4 years of experience in human resources recruiting required
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Ability to work with minimal supervision, interact with all levels of management and maintain strict confidentiality
- Strong analytical, verbal, written, interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment with large groups – must be flexible
- Bi-lingual English/Spanish required
