The Opportunity
As our Food Quality Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring compliance with all major food safety and regulatory standards including FDA, USDA, HACCP, and our company’s Global Quality Standards (GQS). You’ll help us maintain a safe, clean, and audit‑ready environment while training and supporting our team to follow best practices.

What You’ll Do
In this hands-on role, you’ll help keep food safe, meet quality standards, and support the teams serving our airline customers.
- Keep accurate quality records and track key measures for food safety, sanitation, and customer requirements.
- Check daily food-handling and sanitation practices, including cooler and freezer temperatures.
- Collect environmental swabs and food samples, and send them to a laboratory for testing.
- Check Chef’s Table samples and portion sizes against product specifications.
- Inspect workstations and service areas for cleanliness, sanitizer use, food temperatures, and required food-safety records.
- Review daily food-safety logs and other records to make sure they’re complete and accurate.
- Inspect dispatch areas, galleys, bonded and non-bonded areas, and equipment.
- Help the Quality Manager deliver training and address day-to-day quality, food-safety, and sanitation needs.
- Create clear reports, charts, and training materials that help teams spot trends and improve their work.
What We Look For in a Candidate
• Experience in food manufacturing, food safety, quality assurance, or regulatory compliance
• Strong knowledge of FDA, USDA, HACCP, sanitation standards, and food safety practices
• Confidence in delivering training, presentations, and cross‑functional communication
• Strong attention to detail and ability to lead or support audits and inspections
• A collaborative mindset with the ability to influence and support teams at all levels
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining accuracy and professionalism
