Main Accountabilities
• Manage and mentor a team of maintenance technicians, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and excellence.
• Schedule and prioritize maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
• Oversee preventive maintenance programs for production equipment, HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and facility infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues promptly.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with OSHA, HACCP, and company safety standards.
• Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance records and inspections.
• Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and reduce operational costs.
• Collaborate with operations and engineering teams on process optimization and capital projects.
• Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs and installations.
• Manage spare parts inventory and procurement to support uninterrupted operations.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or related field preferred
• Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or food production environment.
• 2+ years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration systems.
• Proficiency in CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
